We are a public benefit organization here to help those in need of drug, alcohol, and addiction rehab. Having walked the slippery slope of anorexia, I know first hand what it it like to feel the shame, desparity, and helplessness of being caught in a dangerous cylcle of unhealthy behaviors and habits. It took the love and compassion of someone very close to me to bring me back to health and stability, but not all of us are so lucky. My husband suffers to this day from the loss of his brother due to addiction and knows all too well the devastation and darkness addiction can bring into our lives. It is this kind of suffering that brought about the intense desire from both my husband and I to do all we can to give something back to those exeriencing some of our same struggles.
Often, it takes one who has walked the same line to truly understand the nature of addiction and the behaviors and heartbreak associated with it. We simply try to do all we can to bring more compassion and understanding to those who suffer from addiction as well as those who are watching in helpless desparation as a loved one suffers through it by offering treatment and support options for each individual situation.
